Beyond the Highlight Reel: A Powerful Close to Our 2025 Room for Thought Speaker Series

Our final Room for Thought Speaker Series of the year exceeded our expectations. Thank you to the 80 attendees who joined us, and MUCH gratitude to Rich Karlis, Brandon Lloyd, Montee Ball Jr., and Bisi Johnson. These four men brought a level of honesty, humility, and vulnerability that elevated the entire discussion. Their openness in sharing their personal experiences transitioning from the NFL to civilian life, including the identity loss, uncertainty, and hard work required to rebuild purpose beyond the game, along with their willingness to speak openly about uncomfortable moments and life behind the highlight reel, created a conversation that was both compelling and deeply impactful. Additionally, they showcased great examples of modern masculinity.
